I bought the Áutomated Species' and 'The Worst Is Yet To Come' CDs already, I might buy some of the older work too if I like it.
Anyway, my question is a bout the new album: is it available in any other formats? It's amazing that you offer it for free, but 128 kbps makes my ears bleed. Is there a CD quality release of these songs, and if so, where could I

Violent Work Of Art Podcast Feature

Greetings friends of VWOA!

Albums from Promo 99 to Tales of Distortion (except remixes (Alternated Species), or albums with songs that appear on later albums (C.O.M.A.), to save me some space) have the music uploaded and downloadable and have lyrics (except for songs that did not have lyrics on their old website already, as i was building this one; in that case, it's just a matter of Sado getting them to me, and me getting the time to put them in).

How did you pick your name?

The band's name is great, and I've always wondered about what made you guys choose that name?

What Tuning does Anders use?

I'm just curious as to what tuning Anders/Goldenstone has his guitar in? I will work on it more tomorrow. There is still about 1/3 of the functionality that needs to be developed and tested. As it stands now, visitors can post a comment by entering their email address, name, random image number, and the comment itself. If you are registered, you only need to post the comment. Like i've said to Sado before, there has always been an inconsistent way to go about looking for stuff relating to VWOA, such as lyrics, mp3s, merchandise, etc. They've had a lot of "webmasters" who didn't follow through, and they've been forced to go here and there to share this and that.

This website is the definitive place for all things VWOA now. In order for a "brand" (in this case, a band) to succeed there must be only 1 definitive source, and several syndicators that lead to that 1 s

Websites for Underground Bands / Unsigned Artists

Ok, this thread is for people to list various sites that VWOA can use to upload a couple of "teaser" songs and point the people who like them to their official website here. Try to only list websites that appear as "high-profile" or "professional". We don't want to waste their time and effort with "mom-and-pop" websites that some dude created while living in his mom's basement. Try to sort out the paid sites if you can; we want free exposure.

They already have a Last.fm and myspace profile,

Your Drums

Ok, i know that i should have read this somewhere while integrating your content, but i didn't read: i just worked :D.
So, with your drums, are they programmed in the studio, and done by a friend live?
If they are programmed in the studio, are you using a keyboard, or computer program?
And lastly, if you use a program, then where in the hell can i get that bass/kick drum and snare drum file from!

When VWOA came out with Tales of Distortion, the took that title, in my book.
Same goes for my "favorite" song, which is now "The Reaping".
I'm kind of curious as to who Anders Gyllensten's, Magnus Karlsson's, and Maria Simonsson's favorite bands are.
I'm also curious to see what other people's favorite bands are (you should start a new topic to list your favorite

Music coming soon

Ok, this may take some time, because i'm going to have to implement a way to allow mp3 downloads without allowing it to eat into the bandwidth of all of the other websites on this server (see signature).
What will most likely happen is that you may download all of Violent Work of Art's mp3s only if you are logged in, and you may be limited to downloading each mp3 only 2 times.
I may also implement a streaming media application to allow users to listen to an mp3 BEFORE downloading it, to make sure

Website Bugs, Errors, Questions, and Suggestions

This website is running off of the BETA Versions of Ionisis Information Management Systems.
